愛宕神社２

出世にはあまり関心ありませんが、福には関心があります(笑)。
ということで、境内の招き石をしっかり触ってきました。


愛宕山は標高約26mで東京23区内の最高峰です。
といっても、山と呼ばれる自然地形の中でであり、
本当の最高地点は練馬区南西端が標高約58mです。
境内には三等三角点が設置してあります(標高は25.7m)。


また山の上だというのに児盤水(こばんすい、小判水)という名の
池があります。鯉がたくさん餌を求めて集まってきました。




社務所の前ではアジサイの花が早くも咲いていました。


出世の石段を駆け下って(笑)、新橋に向かいます。
途中でプラモデルの田宮模型のお店を発見しました。
中学生の頃、大変お世話になった会社です。


遅めのお昼は新橋：かめやです。
立ち食いのお店ですが、麺はしっかりコシがあり、ダシもいい感じです。
天ぷらは揚げたてサクサク、温泉玉子もおいしいのでお気に入りのお店です。
冷やし天玉そば(410円)をいただきました。ウマー。


狭いですが店内には椅子席もあり、食事時を過ぎたというのに
次から次へとお客が入ってきます。
ここは本当にオススメです。

本当に恐ろしいくらいです。
ナマズみたいのや黄色いのは完全に他の鯉を足場にして
空中露出、口をパクパクさせていました。
かめやさんの天玉そばはおススメです。

ほりけんさん
歩いた後はやっぱり冷たいのが気持ちいいですね。
ここはおダシも味がちょっと濃い目で、なかなか
いけますよ。

Nike Air Max 360 Trainer 2 Release Date

The Nike Air Max 360 Trainer 2 release date is official, set for November 27 in Game Royal/Game Royal-Black-White.

Draped in purple throughout the leather-and-mesh upper, with only the occasional teal accent and a black midsole, the “Game Royal” represents the first colorway on a new, tech-updated edition of the Air Trainer 2.

And buy “tech-updated,” basically I just mean the classic cross trainer’s upper set atop a new 360 Max Air unit. Can’t get more cushioned than that.

Nike Air Max JR Dark Grey/White-Total Orange

Who would have thought that retiring from baseball would so significantly jumpstart Ken Griffey, Jr’s relationship with Nike? Not me, but that seems to be what’s happened as we’ve seen a few retro releases from the Air Griffey Max line, Ken starring in a new TV spot and now a brand new silhouette (although it’s based on his past shoes).

The Nike Air Max JR takes clear inspiration from the Air Griffey Max 1, by way of its upper, but adds in new innovations like the lightweight, breathable mesh on the upper and a 360 Max Air unit.

New Fun Herve Leger Celebrity Sightings

I wish I could capture all the Herve Leger spottings, but it's just impossible. For instance, my recent favorite is when Emily VanCamp wore Herve Leger in the beginning of Season 2 Episode 8 of Revenge, but there are no photos of it online.

Nike Air Griffey Max 1 Platinum

At this rate, Ken Griffey Jr may get more new colorways of his signature shoe and PE’s of other shoes post-retirement than he did during his career.

For the second time in as many days I’m sharing a new Griffey shoe, this time the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Platinum,” and again it is really nice. With an almost Foamposite look going for it, the shoe sports a metallic silver upper with black nubuck surrounding the laces and through the tongue and a black sole unit.

The colorway doesn’t exactly match up with any of Griffey’s old uniforms but hey, he’s retired: it doesn’t have to. The Nike Air Griffey Max I Platinum is a quickstrike release and has already begun hitting stores in some areas. Check out several more looks under the cut. Via

Following up Monday’s look at the Nike Air Max 90 Lunar C3.0, the latest AM90 revisitation, today we get a look at the women’s pairs, which may just be even more impressive.

Sporting the same Hyperfuse construction and Lunarlon-infusion as the men’s edition — and doing so without compromising the immediately-recognizable aesthetics of the AM90 — the women’s colorways previewed today embrace neon and fluorescent tones, a perfect fit on the futuristic Fuse-and-mesh look.

Ken Griffey, Jr Retires From Baseball

ESPN is reporting that Mariners manager Don Wakamatsu has confirmed the Ken Griffey, Jr retirement rumored at earlier in the day.

Griffey is, in addition to being a legend on the baseball diamond, a big part of Nike’s history as his shoes, especially the Air Griffey Max 1, achieved some incredible mainstream popularity for a baseball/cross-trainer. Best of luck going forward to one of the all-time greats.
