比叡山延暦寺 [神社・仏閣]
昨夜は結構寒くなりましたね。
近畿では早くも木枯らし1号が吹きました。
昼間も気温が上がらず、肌寒い一日でした。
しかしブログの中は夏真っ盛り（＾＾）
8月の比叡山延暦寺ご訪問です。
ケーブルカーを降りて山道をとことこ歩きます。
舗装されているので歩きやすい。セミが鳴きまくっていました。
延暦寺といってもかなり広いです。
私と連れが訪ねたのは東塔(とうどう)と呼ばれる地域の、そのまた一部だけ。
まったく、罰当たりな参拝者ですm(_ _)m
東塔の境内案内図。
とりあえず表門。入山料をこの先で納めます。
神聖な雰囲気が漂っています。
まずは、一隅会館で一服休憩。こちらは無料休憩所です。
ご存知の、「一隅を照らす」から名前がつけられているのでしょうか。
真夏だったので、定番のカキ氷。あまりに暑かったので写真を撮らずに
貪りついてしまいました。悟りの境地とは程遠いです（＾＾；
一息入れてから、根本中堂へ。延暦寺の中心となるお堂です。
ご本尊は薬師如来様。ご本尊の前には千二百年間灯り続けている、
「不滅の法灯」が安置されています。
根本中堂正面に、学生式の掲示が。
「国の宝とは何ぞや」ということが書かれています。
政治屋連中に読ませたいですね。
根本中堂の東側、石段を登ったところから見た根本中堂。
こちらには文殊楼。延暦寺の山門に当たります。
二階には文殊菩薩様が祭られています。
再び一隅会館の前に戻って、緩やかな坂を上ります。
右手に大講堂。ご本尊の大日如来様のほか、開祖最澄上人をはじめ
たくさんの肖像画が飾られています。
大講堂前の手水。心なしか、水吐の龍も暑さに参っているようでした。
こちらには鐘楼もあって鐘を突くこともできます。
このほか、水琴窟のある阿弥陀堂や法華総持院東塔など、見るべきところが
たくさんあります。
根本中堂と大講堂でいただいた御朱印。
ちょうどお昼も過ぎたので、延暦寺バスセンターの食堂でお昼にしました。
私は冷たい門前そば。
連れは温かい延暦寺そば。
大変おいしくいただきました。
さて、次はバスに乗って比叡山山頂経由、京都側へ下山します。

文殊楼の写真を見て、迫力に圧倒されそうでした。
歴史ある建物の風格を感じつつ、練り歩く。

その頃は御朱印にも興味がなかったのでいただいてないんですよね・・・

比叡山の奥のガーデンミュージアムに何回か行った
ときに延暦寺を横目で見ながら通り過ぎています。
是非、一度は行ってみたいお寺です。

大きなお寺は、ものすごく広い敷地にあったりしますよね。
全部拝観したら、時間も体力もかなりいりそうです。
お蕎麦・・・私も冷たいのかな。
お蕎麦は冷たい方が好みなので・・。^m^

夜行列車の旅は野～～んびりとしていいものですがあまりにも世の中が忙しくなりすぎて乗る日も居なく成ったんですね、やはり旅はゆっくりとと思うのですが新幹線に頼りますね。
