鞍馬寺　[神社・仏閣] [編集]

先週に続いてこの週末も日曜日は雨になってしまいましたね。
土曜日はいいお天気だったのですが。

そんな雨の中、なぜか心はそぞろに。
近江国は石山寺に行ってきました。
ちょっと紅葉には早かったでしょうか。

この詳細は近日中に。

さて真夏の比叡山を下り、鞍馬駅に到着しました。
ここから、胸元源義経が牛若丸と呼ばれていた頃に修行していた
鞍馬寺へと向かいます。

駅前にある天狗のオブジェ。
真っ赤なお鼻が見事です（＾＾）

駅前を左に曲がればもうそこに鞍馬寺が。
あっという間に仁王門です。

まずは手水で手と口を漱ぎましょう。

鞍馬寺には宗教法人が営業している唯一の鉄道、鞍馬山鋼索鉄道があります。
片道191m、高低差89mを約2分で上り下りします。こちらは日本一短い鉄道だとか。

Wikipediaによると、
”鉄道事業法による許可を受けた鉄道としては、現在唯一の運賃が無料の鉄道である
　（かつては箕面鋼索鉄道も無料であった）。
　ただし、諸堂維持の寄付金を1口100円寄付した人だけが無料で乗車できるように
　なっているので、寄付金100円が事実上の運賃と言える。なお、「運賃」扱いだと
　宗教法人といえども課税されるが、「寄付金」だと非課税扱いになる。”

運賃代わりの100円は寄付金だそうです。
なおこのケーブルカーに乗ると、鞍馬の火祭で有名な由岐神社を
通り越すことになりますので、そちらへ行ってみたい方は参道を上ってください。

この日はお客様が多かったのでいい写真が撮れませんでした。
ですので、写真もWikipediaより。

かわいい車体は三代目の牛若號IIIです。

山門駅から乗車、約2分で多宝塔駅へ到着。
さらに石段を上り詰めると本殿金堂に到着です。

こちらの狛犬、犬というよりトラ（？）みたいです。

鞍馬寺の御紋。まるで天狗の団扇みたい。

いただいた御朱印。

さてこの後は奥の院へ向かいます。
難行苦行、このときは本当に苦しかった...。

晩秋の鞍馬寺は綺麗でしょうね、夏は暑いのでこの時期に登ればちょうどいいかもしれませんね。
紅葉の京都はこれからシーズンですね。

もう２０年以上前なのでよく覚えていないのですが
鞍馬寺は行ったことがあるような気がします＾＾；
