長谷寺の牡丹　[日記] [編集]

GWはいかがお過ごしでしょうか？
おかげさまで、私は昨日夜から久しぶりに実家へ帰りました。
日頃の行いを懺悔(?)するために、今日は早朝から長谷寺へお参りして来ました。

今年は桜の花は早く散ってしまいましたが、このところの冷え込みのせいか、
牡丹の花はちょうど今（５月５日）が見頃のようです。

なおずっときれいな写真は地元住民でプロの（＾＾）"ため息の午後"さんのブログでどうぞ。

早朝５時半頃の門前、桜の馬場から。まだまだ静かです。

ツツジと牡丹が仲良く同居。

この辺りから早くも牡丹が咲き乱れています。

仁王門。

仁王門の脇に、オオデマリの花。

早朝だというのに、早くもお参りの方がいらっしゃっています。
３９９段の登廊脇の牡丹園。

正規の(?)参詣ルートを外れて、ため息の午後さんがお好きな石段を登ります。

こちらはシャクナゲがきれいです。アジサイは・・・もう少ししてからですね。

本堂で観音様にお参りしてから、五重塔へ向かいます。
この辺りもシャクナゲが見事に咲いています。

この下に、新しくお堂が建てられるのでしょうか。整地されています。
東の空も完全に明けきりました。27日の月は南天高くに移動してここからは見えません。

石段を、下に見えていた本坊のほうへ向かって下りていきます。
この辺りもシャクナゲが満開です。

ちょっと変わった、白いシャクナゲ。違う花でしょうか、葉っぱの形がちょっと違いますね。

さらに石段を降りていくと、ヒメウツギが咲いている斜面があります。

ツツジも満開。

こちらにも牡丹園。

オオデマリ。

真っ赤なサツキツツジ（？）がまるで生垣のようになっています。

八角堂脇のシャクナゲ。見事な枝ぶりです。

本坊への道の両脇に牡丹が咲き乱れています。

定番の本坊遠望。うーん、やっぱりイマイチ。大きなレンズが欲しいところですね。

コンデジだとやはり限界。大人しく、近くの牡丹を撮ることにしました。
やっぱり、一眼レフにはかないませんね。

本坊前の一角にヤマブキの花。

「七重八重花は咲けども山吹の実の一つだになきぞ悲しき」（後拾遺和歌集　兼明親王）
太田道灌の逸話が思い出されます。

再び牡丹。

仁王門脇へと坂道を下っていきます。
竹林の前に、ツツジが見事に咲いています。

今の長谷寺、牡丹がちょうど見頃です。
明日の５月６日までは、９時から１６時まで近鉄大阪線の急行が臨時停車するようです。
また室生寺行きのバスも出ています。

こちらでは牡丹の名所がない（知らないだけ？）ので羨ましいです。

長谷寺は関東の人は鎌倉と勘違いせれるようですね、↑
今は牡丹が綺麗な長谷寺もツツジも見事なもんですね、室生寺の石楠花も今はカメラマンで一杯でしょうね。
又行って見たいです。
